What Do You Read?

I haven't subscribed to a magazine or newspaper in quite a while, but I do keep up with what's going on in the world by perusing magazines when I am at the book store and, of course, with daily reading online. Here's what I read on a regular basis:

Basically any magazine that can teach me something is something I want to read.

  1. I have not found Backwoods Home on the news stands around here (Indiana)for over a year, thought they had gone under. I have even asked news stands to get it in for me, to no avail. Maybe it is blocked in my area somehow.
If you are not reading The Backwoodsman, you are really missing out on a lot of good, interesting information and entertainment. Try it, you will like it.

  3. WOW.

    GOOD POINT.

I subscribed to a gun magazine for $ 18.00 for 24 monthly issues. was great..to renew I had to pay lots more, so I didn't.
But the competition just send to me an offer ..$ 15.00 for 24 monthy issues..Not bad.
Last book sale I got me an encyclopedia Britannica for $ 10.00 a merit Student encyclopedia for $ 5.00 Bags and bags of *How-to* books for $ 2.00 a bags (filled beyond capacity), Lots and lots of university books, medical books and lots of other reading materials of higher education.
I spent total of $ 28.00 bucks anf almost fill the bed of my little truck.
I dont used them yet, but my just in case library has been filled to the max.
Well tomorrow there is another book sale wich I plan to attend, I'm now looking for books as above for my cabin and trailer.
Prices like this are reasonable enough to make the investment.
When you take in consideration the original prices of this books and compare them to the prices I have paid you can see a big difference. They might be outdated but, the info still there.
    Sorry to keep anonymous.
I read your blog every day and i must let you know. It is the best. Why? Because you go to the point and you dont bring comedy into it.

    Thanks.

    Keep bloggin.

  4. I read the local daily paper every morning with my coffee - I read it for local & sometimes state information. I get my national & international news from the Internet.

The magazines I read regularly are Back Home, Countryside, and Backwoods Home.

My guilty pleasure is an occasional MaryJane's Farm magazine.
