I'm not going to say the weather is unnaturally bad right now--it's probably a cyclical weather thing--but good grief it is mid April and the snow is still pouring in the central plains. Several other weather concerns at the moment include a hefty dose of wildfires (already?!?) in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as widespread tornadoes through the south; even Florida isn't immune from bad weather on the horizon. I guess I should be happy we have only had a bit of wind here.
Perhaps more distressing should be the fact that the Great Plains are moving eastward (it's a big deal for farming, weather, populations, etc).
