I was mentally planning an exit strategy (in case of fire) - get the kitties into their carriers (stacked in my bedroom) and get them out the door. Next, the car which in the attached garage. But I have to go into the garage from inside the house because the lock doesn't work & I have padlocks on the inside. Definitely will slow me down. But I don't want to leave the car outside, esp in the winter. ACK! And I don't back into the garage - want to keep the exhaust pipe end as far away from the connecting door as possible. (sigh)

But thanks for all the other tips/ideas. Have already been doing the 'tank half full' since last winter. Now I need to get those supplies in there. I don't drive far, but every day to/from work, so practicing sounds like a good idea.

I'd like my kids to start reading your blog...Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200562050056015577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8144465279383388996.post-56168273370295302652009-02-09T21:05:00.000-08:002009-02-09T21:05:00.000-08:00Everytime I try to install a wench on the B.O.V. t...Everytime I try to install a wench on the B.O.V. the wife complains bitterly...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
